Stopping for Mushrooms

While cycling, I try to keep a brisk pace. Although I enjoy the scenery, I seldom stop to look around. But on a ride last week I was compelled to get off my bike a take some pictures.

I was near the hilltop turnaround of an up-and-back when I spotted a mushroom along the side of the road. I didn’t have a camera with me, but I did have a phone. I got off a couple shots and then I saw another variety of mushroom a little ways up the hill. I had to check that one out as well. By the time I was done, I had captured several mushroom images. All of these shots were taken along a few hundred foot stretch of road on November 4th.
